Week 2 – The help you need, when you need it #mooc #mmooc #seq7jan13

Seq7Jan13: Mailed 17 January 13.

Mechanical MOOCsters,

It’s the second week of class, and you’ve probably got Python questions.  Fortunately, there are tons of people waiting to provide answers.  If you haven’t already registered for the OpenStudy 6.189 group (http://bit.ly/TH8N4s), you should.  You’ll almost always find learners from the course hanging out there, asking and answering questions.

What’s more, a lot of these learners are from the previous sequence of the course, which started five weeks ahead of this one, so they’ve already completed the exercises you are struggling with—and they are excited to share what they’ve learned.

Midway through this course, you’ll see a new group of learners join the community as we start up the next sequence.  This overlapping is on purpose, so there are always other learners who can help you, and learners you can help!

Part of the magic of the Mechanical MOOC!
