It’s week 7, and you are officially Mechanical MOOC veterans at this point. In fact, since you are the first group to go through the course, you are also pioneers–the first ever students in the first ever Mechanical MOOC. We hope you are learning a lot about Python, and we know we are learning a lot about learning. Thanks for joining the education revolution.
Here’s your chance to give back: We are thrilled with how things have gone in the first round, but we know we haven’t gotten everything right the first time, and we realize there are plenty of other great Python resources that are out there on the Web that we haven’t uses.
As you are wrapping your work in the course over the next couple of weeks, please help us make the course better for the learners that will come after you. Here’s how:
- Suggest improvements to the course sequence (https://mechanicalmooc.wordpress.com/sequence/). We’ve tried to align things across the resources in the best way, but we’d love your input. What changes might improve the flow of the course? You can comment directly on the course sequence page.
- Help improve the course e-mails (https://mechanicalmooc.wordpress.com/category/seq15oct12/). We already know a few ways we confused people, but we’re sure there are more. Read back through the course e-mail archive and let us know if you see opportunities for us to make the course instructions clearer. Again, comment right on the page for each post.
- Suggest additional Python resources (https://mechanicalmooc.wordpress.com/other-resources/). The Web is an incredible place, full of great resources that can help you do all kinds of things, including learn Python. We found some of the great resources, but there are tons of others we’ve no doubt missed. Help us build a list.
