A final tip on MOOCing mechanically #mmooc

Seq15Oct12: Mailed October 13, 2012.

Members of MOOC nation,

Here’s a final way to optimize your mechanical MOOCing experience:

MOOC mechanically in 中文(Chinese).

OK, so the Mechanical MOOC’s Chinese is not good enough to really be sure how this will work (no machine is perfect), but it’s worth mentioning that there are related OCW resources that have been translated into Chinese. They are slightly older vintage versions of 6.189 (from 2008) and 6.00 (from 2010), but if you are struggling with both Python and English as a second language (and you speak Chinese), they may be helpful.

Hopefully this will help make the Mechanical MOOC experience more fun and successful for you. Remember though, we are all still learning how to do this, so if you discover tips and tricks that will help your fellow MOOCers, be sure to share.

谢谢,

— The Mechanical MOOC
